Make sure you have the right tools for your tiling job!Wall Tile Tools Tile cutter. Tile nippers. 2 Clean buckets. Tape measure. Pencil or non-permanent marker. Spirit level. Spacer pegs, 1mm, 2mm, or 3mm. Notched tiling trowel, 3x3mm for mosaics, 6x6mm standard wall tiles and 8x8mm for larger tiles. A good quality square cut sponge for cleaning off grout and tiles. Dustpan & brush. Hack saw for cutting trims. Drill & appropriate drill bits. Straight edge to make into a tile gauging rod. Wire brush to prepare plaster. Soft lint free cloth, like an old tea towel to polish tiles. Rubber backed trowel or squeegee for applying tile grout. Flat hand trowel or wide blade paint scraper to spread tile adhesive on back of notched trowel. Tiling batten, for larger areas. White Scotchbrite® soft pad, to emulsify grout. Silicone sealant and applicator. Electric cutter if cutting right angles or hard tiles. |

Spacer pegs, 3mm or 4mm. Knee pads. Notched trowel. 6x6mm small tiles, 8x8mm medium size tiles. 10x10mm larger tiles. Flat hand trowel or wide blade paint scraper to spread adhesive on back of notched trowel. Rubber backed trowel or squeegee for applying tile grout. Maroon or blue Scotchbriteฎ medium pad, to emulsify grout. A good quality square cut sponge for cleaning off grout and tiles. Soft lint free cloth, like an old tea towel to polish tiles. Soft broom. Dustpan and brush Drill & appropriate drill bits. Silicone sealant and applicator. Hack saw for cutting trims. Chalk line. Set square or 3:4:5 triangle to create a right angle. |
